Get up and at'em!

Because circle photos are cool, guys. Anywho, I got up early and went to the farmers market today, it was really sunny and probably hot but I was lucky and got a shady spot. There was good music, I didn't catch his name sadly but he played Elton John and the Beatles and was very good. Our local market is really fun. I've gotten to know so many talented and kind people. What did you do today? Are you a Saturday Morning kind of person, a sleep in person? I'm both...it depends on how late I stay up:) Its another reason why I love the Market so much, it gets me out of bed and being productive bright and early.

Let's get moving

I love walking. Waking up early and getting out of the house alone or with my kids is an easy way to spend quality time with myself or them. Lately I have been walking around my own neighbor hood, but I usually go to the Historic District or our state park Snow Canyon, that is close by.
Because we live in the desert getting up early enough to beat the heat is essential, as I get cranky as it gets hotter. Heat aside though, we get to see wildlife, fantastic views, flowers, and cloudless skies for miles! It's breath taking really.
Do you go for walks? Or jogs, trots, runs etc? Let me know you're favorite time/place.  Do you take kids or go alone? Thanks for reading!

The farmers market

I went to the local farmers market this week. They are every Saturday and chock full off local produce and artisans. I come here every Saturday if I can. It's a great way to meet other crafts people, hear local music, and network.

A new start

Oh sweet goodness! I had had so many things getting in the way of creativity over the last few months. But a silver lining has emerged. Being free from school has opened up a whole slot of creative time once the Littles are in bed. Not only jave I been making some new jeweled bits for all of you, I have also been sketching and coloring. I say coloring separately because it's in coloring books, but it still counts! Using a coloring book has reawakened my drawing muscles and opened my mind's eye. I am now finding myself having a hard time not drawing on every surface! Needless to say I am feeling much lighter.

I do have many more Miems jewelry pieces to photograph, and while I won't be showin them all here,  I'm hoping to get them up on the website and having that fully functional very soon. As this is still a very small family endeavor things tend to move slowly. But in the long run it works out well because things get to be just right.

Have a glorious and sunny Sunday my loves!!
